Rates
Service Calls - are $95 an hour. Telephone and email support are available upon request and are charged at the same rate.
Emergency Services - are when the customer requires a same-day appointment that takes place after 8:00 PM or weekends. These services are billed at $125 an hour.
Cancellations and Rescheduling of Service Calls - I understand the need for cancellations or rescheduling of a service call. I would ask that you give me a minimum advanced notice of 24 hours. I understand and appreciate the emergencies that take place from time to time. I request this as a professional courtesy. I promise to provide the same notice to you. If you are in need of an emergency repair or have an issue that can not wait, then I will do my absolute best to find a trusted associate who can provide the service for you at the same cost or less.
Trip Charges - There are no Trip Charges within the Rockville, Gaithersburg, or Germantown area. Trip Charges to DC and Northern Virginia are usuall billed at the hourly rate of a normal service call since there is normally a one hour time frame taken for the trip. If I am already in the area then charges will not apply.
Parts and Equipment – Typically I do not stock equipment. This reduces unnecessary overhead on my part and allows me to keep prices as low as possible on equipment you may need to purchase. I find the lowest price in the area and only charge you cost plus a small reasonable fee for pickup and delivery. Most of the time, equipment needed for a service call can be determined ahead of time and if a customer has a preferred vendor, I can specify the make, model and specifications and they can purchase the equipment themselves.
Time - I am available via e-mail or phone at any time. If you leave me a message I will promptly return your call, even if it is just for the purpose of acknowledging the fact that you called. You are welcome to call me or e-mail me at ANY time and leave me a detailed message with a description of the problem and the best time to return your call or schedule an appointment. When scheduling an appointment it would be beneficial to give me a few alternative dates/times in the event I am already scheduled to serve another customer.
Referrals - Referrals are very much appreciated. If you refer me to a new client then you will receive a $50 discount on your next service call.
Additional Information - From time to time a job may require more than one technical person. Rates will be as follows: Systems Administrator- $95/hr; Hardware Engineer $75/hr.
